Christmas With a Narcissist – 6 of 21

Christmas with a narcissist is pure garbage! The first Christmas that I had with “Mike” was heartbreaking.

I didn’t grow up giving gifts and so the process was stressful and new to me. However, I had thought of some really thoughtful gifts that I was really excited to give. Some were handmade and I had put a lot of time into preparing and making them. I had put extra time and effort into beautifully wrapping them and putting them under the Christmas tree.

When he arrived, he said, “Don’t get your hopes up. I didn’t get you anything.” Stab number one.

Then later in a fight, he told me my gifts were “$hit” and to top it off, he never even took them out of the box or even knew where they were in his pigsty!

He always found a way to ruin special events. ALWAYS! That is what narcissists do so well. Anytime that you could be viewed as important or happy, they piss all over it.
